Mumbai Dabbawalas

When lockdown was imposed, the maximum affected were the daily wagers. Amongst them were the Dabbawalas of Mumbai, 5000 of them who have served over 200,000 Mumbaikars with food for 113 years without a miss or a slip.
Well it was our turn to serve them now as they would have no earnings during this lockdown period.

The Om Puri Foundation with the help of Anaida Parvaneh and Andre managed to get the bank details of 50 most needy dabbawalas, to help them with ration. And eventually, we managed to help 200 dabbawala families and still continuing,
We will only be happy once we are able to reach out to all the 5000 Dabbawalas of Mumbai!
